INITIAL CONFIDENTIAL PATENTING ASSESSMENT If you have an invention that you might like to patent but would first like a confidential initial assessment of the invention, I will provide an initial assessment of your invention and familiarize you with the patenting process at NO CHARGE! A written estimate for continued service will be provided after I receive a complete written description from you.
PRELIMINARY PATENT SEARCH I offer searches to locate U.S. issued patents and published patent applications that could prevent patenting of your invention (novelty search), and/or prevent you from producing a product. The search contains a listing of patents issued in the last 25 years in the field of your invention. These searches do not cover foreign patents or non-patent publications in depth. Typical charge is $350. You may phone me for details. A search firm may be hired to perform a full U.S. patent search back to 1790 (4 weeks). This search is complete enough to allow accelerated examination of a patent application for an additional fee, if needed. The additional fee will be quoted as needed. You can do your own preliminary search at www.uspto.gov.
